Admission criteria

• Completed application
• Entering Grade 7 or 8
• Transcript (Grade B or better)
• 3 letters of recommendation (two must be from teachers who taught the student and one from a community or religious leader who has spend time with the student)
• Essay (This essay should include work you've done in your community that reflects your leadership potential and why should you be accepted into SHED programs.)
• Proof of Income (family total monthly household income of less than USD $200)
• Entrance Tests (basic Math and English)*
• Personal interview*
